Black Fort

Black Fort (Dún Dúchathair) sits perched above 300 foot cliffs towering over the sea. This Iron Age promontory ring fort on the island of Inishmore faces west out over the Atlantic Ocean. It was used as a place of defense over two thousand years ago.
