Glendalough

Glendalough (Gleann dá Loch, or ‘Glen of the Two Lakes’) Valley was carved out by receding glaciers 12,000 years ago. Bordered by the Wicklow Mountains, the two lakes are adjacent to the renowned ancient monastic site, while this serene view looks north across Lower Lake.
